Hi
We have a winner of our podcast competition for the books about Valencia and luckily for us the winner was in Valencia for a few days for his first visit during Fallas. We met up this morning and I handed over the books to Dave Carter our winner.
We'll be announcing our next competition in our next full podcast and then the winner could be you.
Meanwhile, read the article below, listen to the podcast, share both of them with your friends and contact us on our mail below or our socials and we'll see if we can help you out too. Oh, and there's a few properties too. Take a look.
Regards
Graham and the VP team.

Valencia is a place that benefits from what the World has become over the last couple of years in general. It benefits because the basics for a good life are here with a more than reasonable climate (one of the best in the World according to many official sources), an excellent work life balance, an affordable place for people to move to from many more expensive areas of Europe and the World, a progressive outlook
and from it being a comparatively safe place to settle in terms of personal safety and also safety from natural disasters, potential conflicts and more. Moreover, it definitely benefits from homeworking and in this article we are going to explain why.

It Has Been Penthouse Week on
Valencia Property
We have been listing a few penthouses in Valencia this week so thought it was time to let you see some and tempt you with some excellently priced places in not so central Valencia but not too far to walk to get there. Oh, there's also a beach property.
The Door To Your Perfect Valencia Beach Apartment, Or Is it?
|
|
3 doors. Behind one door are the keys to a modern apartment on Calle de la Reina in the fashionable Cabanyal area near the beach. Behind the other 2 doors is nothing, just a return to interminable clicking on idealista listings, searching for that perfect Valencian apartment.
Now, choose one door. For example the door on the left. Ok, but then what do you do if I then open the door on the right to show you that the kays are not there. Do you stick with your choice, or change to the other remaining door?
Well, believe it or not, switching your choice more than doubles your chances of getting the keys to this great apartment with 3 bedrooms and a 8m2 balcony, fully renovated just a couple a years ago. I know, it doesn’t seem to make sense, you’re thinking 2 doors, one set of keys, 50/50, right?
Look, I don’t understand it either, but maths says so. Its one of those situations, sometimes people know more than you and you just have to listen and learn. Like, oh I don’t know, the Valencia property market. Maybe give us a call and let us help you choose the correct door to your perfect apartment.
Wow, what a metaphor. Completely nailed it though.

Almost Perfect Valencia Penthouse
|
|
Beautiful penthouse apartment in the El Carmen area of the city centre. Just metres from the riverbed parkland. An old building with classic architecture. But there is a price to pay for all that architecture. To be paid in calories. No lift in this building, that's the catch, and the apartment is on the fifth floor.
2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one of those ensuite. And without a door. Or 4 walls. If the toilet bowl is actually in the bedroom is it still an ensuite? But I digress.
Point is, its a fantastic apartment. To live in or for a holiday apartment, maybe mixed in with a bit of mid-term rental, it has everything you could ask for.
Except a lift.

Penthouse Apartment in Nou Moles in Valencia
|
|
A great penthouse in a fantastic location. The Nou Moles neighbourhood is one of those up and coming areas where you can still find some good value. This property is a 5-minute walk from the riverbed park, a 15-minute stroll to the city centre and a 2-minute amble down to the metro stop. There's a new multisport centre with a couple of swimming pools about to open literally next door as well.
Recently refurbished, this place has 2 very spacious bedrooms, 1 bathroom (which is a little pokey), kitchen, utility room, and a fantastic terrace slightly higher than your neighbours in front so they won´t be watching you but you can voyeur away to your heart's content if that's your thing. Oh, and a parking spot comes with that you can either use or rent out for some passive income if you wish.
Good spot that´s ready to live in straight away with zero work needed. Ideal for rentals.
