Hi Virtually every initial client meeting we have at the moment starts with a complement of some kind, "We just love your website" "Your blog is amazing, so much information", "We love your podcast" and recently one that we just
loved even more "You have the best property descriptions in the World" Why did we love that one particularly? Well, that's what we are aiming for. The most informative, the most comprehensive and more
importantly, the most entertaining property website on the web. Something that if you still use bookmarks you will bookmark and keep coming back to. Something that when you see a social media post directing you to the website you will read. Something that when you see there's a new episode of the podcast you'll listen to it in the car, in the gym or on your daily walk with the dog. Something overall that is extremely helpful to you. Today, it's time to bring you up to date with some of our recent entertaining descriptions, our latest podcast and latest blog posts. Take a look, click through the links, and have a listen to the podcast. There's another podcast coming up later this week all about the Digital Nomad or Remote Worker visa so if you have any questions after reading the post below feel free to message me and ask away and I'll include it on the pod too.
Best Wishes Graham and the Team at Valencia Property PS: Click on everything.
You'll enjoy the descriptions, the blogs and the podcast. And then contact us to tell us how we can help you find your perfect place in Valencia.

Finally, Spain’s Digital Nomad or Remote Worker Visa is up and running and all of the details are finally out. So settle back with a drink and take in what you will need to escape the UK/US or
wherever you are coming from and if you don’t then start to get prepared NOW. The Remote Worker visa is called the “visado para teletrabajadores de carácter internacional ” and we think there is only one disappointing thing about it… but more about that later. So let’s go through the points of the Spanish Remote Worker Visa as they have been revealed this week.

You Can't Take it With You
|

I was going to use one of those AI bots to write this description but it just kept spitting out bland generalities that we loathe here at
VP.
But the whole AI business got me thinking and you know what? The future is going to be messy folks, if I was you I would just buy a nice four-bed apartment
overlooking a treelined avenue with oak floors and floor-to-ceiling windows from which to view the apocalypse. You may as well make sure it has an east-facing balcony high up enough to watch the sun come hurtling towards the earth while you're at it. And obviously, turn that air-conditioning up full blast because a sun crashing into your house makes for some toasty time. Stick a few radiators in there in case we go the other way and a volcano spews up enough ash to cover the sun and we have 50
years of cold and dark. Oh, don’t forget to throw in a parking spot just in case you have time to skedaddle before the zombies take over. But don’t take the motorway, it’ll be jammed. The Turia riverbed park is only 5 minutes away, get down there, pedal to the metal and don’t stop for anyone or anything!
Then again maybe it’ll all come to nothing, and you’ll while away your days looking at the sunrise from a
respectable and normal distance, while you meander through the Gran Via neighbourhood enjoying all it has to offer, saying hello to one of the many satisfied VP clients who’ve already bought down this way.
Either way, this is a great apartment.

The Valencia Property Guide to Saving Money (Part One)
|
|
Welcome back to the monthly podcast
and this one is going to be a longer one, we know people like it when we get deep into the weeds with explaining how things work here, that's sort of counter intuitive but it's true, the deper the dive the better the reactions to the pod and the greater the number of downloads. On this one we are looking back at the first month of 2023, what's been happening, what have we been doing and what's going on in the background and we will be
looking into the rationales behind the website.

Are you ready for this one?
Now, you know the rules and so do I. A full commitment's what I'm thinking of
with this property. If you're asking how I'm feeling don't tell me (Just because) you're too blind to see.
Yes, we've started this by simply RickRolling you but in order to make that full commitment what do you have to give up.
A terrace? Nope we have a huge 25m2 terrace with great city views.
Location? Nope, just around the corner from the Central Market and the Lonja listed building with which it shares a road.
Modernised? Nope, ready to go more or less though you might want to change a few things.
Air Conditioning? Nope, top floor so you will probably need it in the summer and winter for heating.
Views? Definitely not. Surrounded by domes and blue skies
Now you've only known each other for a short time Your heart's been aching (For something like this), but
you're too shy to say it (to say it) Inside, we both know what's been going on (you love it really) We know the game and we're gonna play it (because we have the keys).
But what do you REALLY have to give up?
Well, there is one small thing. A lift. And maybe your gym membership.
Fourth floor without lift but that's what you give up to have this amount of outside space at this price in the heart of the city centre.
Two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room and large terrace with space for barbecues, guests and chilling out. What more could you ask
for?
"Always gonna give lifts up... Always gonna walk right down... Always gonna remember to pick the milk up..." (I'll get my hat!)

Why Do Americans Move to Valencia?
|
|
Over the last few years the numbers of Americans deciding to leave the USA and move to a different country has grown massively. The Great Escape was stimulated by the Orange Sh*tgibbon but has shown no signs of letting up. We thought it was time to let you know
why Americans choose to move to Valencia, specifically Valencia as opposed to Spain in general. We had our own ideas of course after chatting with so many USA based clients over the last few years but also we sent out the Batsignal to our clients and asked them what it was specifically that made them choose Valencia and we have looked in a few online
forums about what others were saying about Valencia. What are the reasons that made Valencia the choice for them?

A Villa To Make You Sweat
|
|
It's the middle of the winter now, and summer seems like a long way away. In fact hard to believe that in a few short months we will all be complaining about the
heat and humidity and the endless sunshine.
However, if you can't wait that long, you can recreate your own Valencian summer here. Because this villa in La Eliana has its own sauna in the garden. Yes, if you
love sweat dripping off your nose every time do anything requiring even the slightest effort, this is the house for you.
In fact it is 2 houses in one, each floor having an independent living area, with 2 bedrooms on each level. Great for when you have family staying and you just
want to keep a little bit of separation. Which is something you might have to explain to creepy Uncle Raymond before you allow him into the sauna. (Towels definitely not optional Ray).
The metro is just a short few minutes walk, and there is easy access to the CV-35 so the city and the airport are less than 20 minutes by car. Double glazing
throughout, porcelain tiled floors, central heating, this is a top quality house for the price. So if you've had enough of this winter and can't wait to be changing your t-shirt 3 times a day, call us now, we have the place for you.

For some of the people that get in touch with us via mail, our social media channels or even phone, Valencia City living is the be-all and end-all of their property search here. If they cannot get what they want in the city itself then they don’t want anything. That’s totally legitimate as a mindset but might be a bit limiting.
After all you don’t know about something you don’t know about, what’s just around the corner may be as good or even better than what you are looking at and have set your heart on. Today, therefore, we are going to look at changing that mindset. What are the benefits of getting a place near to Valencia
City as opposed to in the city itself, what are the downsides and where are the best places to look if you are interested in thinking outside the box?

The Eyes Are The Windows to the Soul
|
|
"I am familiar with the works of Pablo Neruda" - Bart Simpson (Despite the fact that in research for this listing I found out I was totally wrong about this quote.
It's not a reply to the eyes being the window to the soul, it was "Laughter is the language of
the soul" but I'm still going with it as it works in the context of what I want to say about
this apartment)
So yes, the eyes may well be the windows to your soul and as we all know we eat with our eyes too and here we have a feast for both stomach and soul. Looks great,
recently modernised, has a good sized terrace and is in Valencia's cosmo hub of Ruzafa, so where's the catch?
The price of course. This isn't for someone looking to scrimp on paying out. You get 109m2 for your money here and as you may be able to work out that is over 5k
per m2 which is above local market values. However, it's ready to go, will get you that Golden Visa, is a great place to live and you only need to bring your toothbrush. And even more important is scarcity.
For anyone who has ever read "Influence" by Cialdini you will know what an important role scarcity plays in deciding to buy something and here we are working with
great scarcity. You can basically count on the fingers of one hand the number of properties with the holy trifecta of at least three bedrooms and two bathrooms, totally modernised in a way that doesn't offend and in a great location in Valencia. In fact if you were looking for that under 600k then currently you can almost count using just one finger. That's scarcity for you.
If you fancy living the high life in the world's number one city for
expats in the most en vogue area of that city then this is unique. Come and see it.
