Welcome to Spring in Valencia

We have been so busy recently that the numbers of properties on site started to drop. As we have said recently in a blog post, demand is strong and supply is tight in many, many areas.

Therefore, we have been putting in extra effort on listings in the last week and thought we should share some of the best with you.

A Personal Story Of an Apartment in Naquera

I often get asked what i am doing in Valencia and how long have I been here, so I’m going to tell you a little story about this place.

In a previous life I trained as a Chef in fancy hotels in the UK, I’d been getting itchy feet for quite a while and the options were exciting job offers in Sydney or London. The 19 Districts Of Valencia

As a city Valencia is just about the perfect size for modern living, not too big but large enough to have plenty going on all year round. As we have talked about before in these pages you are never far away from the centre in Valencia, in fact you are generally near to the centre in most of the 19 districts.

However, for those reading this from abroad your knowledge of the city might not be that of a local so it’s a good time to introduce you to the 19 districts in Valencia and you will also see that names you often see don’t appear. This is because within each district you have various neighbourhoods. Let’s take a look.

I wrote something on the Facebook page this week about the inability of some clients to buy what they want. There is a simple reason for this of course, if what you want doesn’t exist then you cannot have it even if you really, really, really want it and scream loudly when you cannot have it. As the Rolling Stones said “You can’t always get what you want”. Whether you are the deluded Brexiters in the UK looking for unicorns, cake and sunlit uplands or a property searcher in Valencia, if your red lines conflict then you cannot get what you are looking for, sometimes things are mutually exclusive.
